This cozy apartment is located in a traditional chalet in an elevated position above Faulensee, combining rustic charm with spacious rooms and beautiful views of Lake Thun. The apartment features a welcoming living and dining area with plenty of wood, exposed beams, and classic chalet character. The living area is comfortably furnished and perfect for relaxing after a day in nature. The dining area offers space for shared meals, while the separate kitchen is functionally equipped and benefits from large windows with lake views. The main bedroom is quietly located and comfortably furnished. The bathroom is practical and equipped with a shower. The second bedroom is accessible via a spiral staircase and is furnished with a double bed. From the balcony and terrace, you can enjoy lovely views over Lake Thun and the surrounding landscape. The apartment is ideal for couples or guests seeking peace and quiet who appreciate an authentic stay with character. This is not a modern new build, but a genuine chalet with history and atmosphere. Please note: The apartment is only accessible via outdoor and indoor stairs (no elevator).

The chalet is located slightly above Faulensee in a quiet residential area. Faulensee is a picturesque village right on the shores of Lake Thun in the Bernese Oberland, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding Alpine panorama. You can reach the village on foot in about 35 minutes (uphill/downhill). The nearest bus stop, with connections towards the village and Interlaken, is about a 25-minute walk away. In Faulensee, you will find several restaurants, a Volg grocery store (open Monday to Saturday), and a lovely playground. The beautiful lakeside lido “Seebad Faulensee” is also located here, directly on the deep blue Lake Thun and freely accessible all year round. Enjoy a relaxing walk along the lakeside path from Faulensee to Spiez and take in the stunning views of the lake and mountains. Faulensee is an ideal starting point for exploring the Bernese Oberland. Distances: approx. 16 km to Interlaken and just under 13 km to Thun.
