Direkt gegenüber vom Chalet, befindet sich die Langlaufpiste in Flond, welche Nachts auch beleuchtet ist. Das Skigebiet Obersaxen ist mit dem Auto nur 2 Minuten (Valata) bzw. 5 Minuten (Meierhof) entfernt. Ein Bus fährt von der Haltstelle Flond Dorf (300m) 2 Mal pro Stunde zu den Skiliften. Das Chalet bietet ebenfalls eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Berge.
