For your peace and privacy, the chalet and studio are never rented at the same time—unless booked together for larger groups of up to 10 guests. The main chalet, renovated in 2016 and again in 2019, retains its original character with exposed beams and a cozy fireplace. Spread across three and a half floors, it features: - A spacious living room - A fully equipped open-plan kitchen - A dining area with balcony access - Four double bedrooms - Two bathrooms, including a spa-like ensuite adjoining the master bedroom The Deluxe Studio, located on the ground floor with a separate entrance, includes: - A queen-size bed - Kitchenette - Private shower room and toilet - Sitting area with underfloor heating - A private outdoor seating and dining space with stunning views Whether you're here to ski, hike, mountain bike, or simply relax, Rayon de Soleil offers year-round access to nearby wellness and spa facilities, alpine sports and family-friendly activities. Guests also benefit from the Carte Bienvenue Villars-Gryon-Les Diablerets, available free of charge from the local Gryon tourist office in Barboleuse when city taxes are paid. Chalet Rayon de Soleil is located in the charming, historical village of Gryon, nestled in the stunning Swiss Alps and just a stone’s throw from Villars-sur-Ollon. This peaceful alpine haven offers easy access to the renowned Villars-Gryon-Les Diablerets ski region, including Glacier 3000. The chalet is just minutes from the Barboleuse cable car station, reachable by car, tram or shuttle bus (free with ski passes, Magic Pass or the Carte Bienvenue), connecting you directly to Les Chaux and the Gryon Ski School. It takes less than 3–5 minutes by car or tram to reach Barboleuse, a lively area with several restaurants, après-ski spots and ice-skating in winter. Throughout the year, Barboleuse hosts numerous concerts and festivals, including the traditional Désalpes celebration in late September, when flower-adorned cows are paraded down from the mountain pastures—a truly unforgettable Swiss experience.
