Located close to the old town, our appartment is ideally situated to start exploring Murten and its sourroundings. Take a walk along "Pantschau" at the lake Murten and admire the sunset. Every season of the year has its specialty. Enjoy one or more of the many events, such as the Slow up, Wake and Jam, Murten Classics, Open Air Cinema, Surf Classics, Festival of Light, Ice skating in Winter, and many more. Creux du Van or Gorge de l´Areuse in the Jura mountains are a must during hot summer days. The Alps, 45min to 1h30 from Murten offer many recrational possibilities, from hiking to rock climbing or bouldering to skiing in Winter. Schilthorn and James Bond are not far away either. Citites to visit are Bern, Neuchatel, Fribourg, Lausanne, all within 40min by train, or Zurich or Geneva, only 1h15 by car.
