Iglusaq – apartement and breakfast – offers you : a direct acces to an excellent ski resort (the “4 vallées”: Verbier, Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon), 3 apartments next to the slopes (ski in – ski out), a familiar and cosy atmosphere, a wonderful breakfast at our great table in the common room... Iglusaq – apartement and breakfast - is neither a hotel, nor a conventional B&B, staying with us means you can cook yourself – every apartment has it’s own little kitchen. Iglusaq – appartement and breakfast - respects the environment. Our chalet got the swiss label of energy efficiency and has been built using swiss wood only! We are looking forward to meeting you!
We are both very much into mountaineering: in winter we enjoy skiing, snowboarding and skitouring and in summer mountain biking and hiking. Especially Benedikta loves being out in the nature. During off-season we love to travel around the world: Benedikta prefers the adventures of far-east countries while Jeremy is very open-minded towards everywhere!
There is so much to do within the surroundings...in winter of course you'll just cross the road to access the ski slope which leads you to the "4 vallées"- and Verbier. If you're not into skiing, there are some lovely snowshoe hikes for all fitness levels. Our area is great for mountainbiking and hiking in summer - there's a great ridge walk that takes all day! For more moderate hikers, the "bisse", a small path along an ancient agricultural watering system, leads you from Veysonnaz to Nendaz. If you fancy cultural activities, the old city of Sion with its two castles, is always worth a visit!
