A famous village in the area is Chironico, a major destination for climbers from all over Europe; it is a 5-minute drive away: this is where many sportsmen come to boulder in the Bouldering Area created thousands of years ago. For mountain lovers, there are many trekking routes on the peaks of Pizzo Pettine, Pizzo Molare, Pizzo Forno and Carì, famous for its ski area which is very popular during the winter. How to get there: From the A2 highway, reach the Faido-Carì exit, then continue along the Nucleo Lavorgo road. Turn into "Mòron" street and park in front of the house. If you are by train, go to the Lavorgo station (train direction Erstfeld). In an 8-minute walk you will reach the apartment.
