Aquest edifici del segle XIX, construït en un estil de xalet suís tradicional, està situat al centre de Lausana, a tan sols 5 minuts a peu del llac de Ginebra i del Museu Olímpic. Ofereix un jardí i WiFi gratuïta. Les habitacions de l'Hotel Le Chalet són espaioses i disposen de balcó i terrassa amb vista sobre la muntanya o el jardí, TV de pantalla plana i un bany amb banyera o dutxa. Els lavabos són compartits. Al segle XIX, el famós autor suec Strindberg es va allotjar en aquest bed and breakfast. Listed residence, located at the foot of the metro (Jordils), 300 m from the lake and the port of Ouchy. The former pension "Le Chalet" has been transformed into a family cocoon by the new owners. In the heart of a small park, between the Elysée Museum, the Olympic Museum and the Château d'Ouchy, the property offers four (4) large rooms renovated and decorated with care. The old-fashioned charm of the chalet has survived the years and now comes with modern comforts.

OUCHY is a port and a popular lakeside resort south of the centre of Lausanne in Switzerland, at the edge of Lake Geneva. It is very popular with tourists for the views of nearby France (Évian-les-Bains, Thonon). The incredible views of the lake and the Alps, and the cooler air in summer have made Ouchy a popular place, especially in the summer months. It is served by Lausanne Metro Line 2. the stop is called Jordils which is 1 stop away from Ouchy station (the final stop on the line). In 2015, the metro station "Ouchy" was renamed "Ouchy-Olympique" to mark the 100th anniversary of the installation of the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne. The Olympic Museum and the Olympic Park (sculpture garden between the museum and the lake) are in Ouchy.You can easily get around the area by using the metro which is a 1-minute walk from the Chalet.
