Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish modern alpine style apartment in the beautiful town of Chateau d`Oex. Boasting epic mountain views from its 44m2 wrap around balcony, you can enjoy the sun all day! The stylish kitchen and bar allow for spending cosy winter evenings eating cheese fondue, whilst the bbq and dining on the terrace ensures epic apero`s and al-fresco dinners. The three bedrooms, all with mountain views, and two bathrooms make for a comfy stay for both families and friends.
We welcome you to our modern alpine escape in Chateau d`Oex! Whilst looking for a mountain get away we stumbled upon this new apartment and were immediately sold by the amazing balcony with epic mountain views. We mainly use it as our own home, but occasionally rent it out to fellow mountain lovers.
We`re at the end of the village, close to both the train station (200 meters) and the road to Gstaad. The closest ski area is Gstaad, with the Rougemont cable cart a 8 minute drive away. Les Mosses, a smaller and cheaper family friendly ski area is a 15-20 minute drive away. The cheese town of Gruyere is a 30 minute drive. The location at the end of the village ensures unobstructed views towards the mountains! The reason it is unobstructed is because a railway and larger road (80km road) pass our apartment in close vicinity. This also means a train station 100 meters away! Twice an hour (between 06:00 - 23:00) a slow train passes. With windows closed you will hardly hear this, but on the balcony or with an open door you can hear it.
