It is located on the sun terrace of Lake Thun, with a beautiful view of the lake and the Alps. The house is an old chalet which was completely renovated in 2019. In doing so, we have put emphasis on the processing of natural building materials. (The insulation is, for example, real sheep wool, the wooden windows are triple-glazed, the house is heated by a heat pump and the electricity is largely recovered by a separate photovoltaic system) You have your own entrance and a parking space right outside the door. On the balcony you can enjoy your breakfast or in the evening a bottle of wine. The apartment is equipped with underfloor and wall heating, a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine with dryer are part of the equipment. The bathroom has a bath and a shower.
We, Tatiana and Jürg live in the house next to the apartment and are happy to be there for our guests.
Start the day with a breakfast on the balcony, with a magnificent view of the lake and the mountains, then you can walk across the imposing suspension bridge to Sigriswil, climb the mountains by foot or by bike or the nearby towns of Thun, Explore Interlaken or Bern. In summer you can swim in the lake or take a boat trip. You will find several ski resorts in the immediate vicinity and even a trip to Italy is possible from Thun by train in less than 2 hours.
