Each unit is modern in style and equipped with its own kitchenette (fridge, microwave, cooking facilities), air conditioning and a private bathroom with shower, shower toilet and hairdryer. Some rooms also feature a small balcony – perfect for a morning coffee in the fresh air. You have also access to a shared terrace and a private bicycle garage. The Schiffli is located right in the old town of Rapperswil, known as the "town of roses" on the upper shore of Lake Zurich. The charming lanes of the old town are lined with cafés, restaurants and small shops, and in summer the lakefront invites you to swim, stroll or take a boat trip across the lake. The famous wooden footbridge to Hurden – one of the longest in Switzerland – starts right by the harbour. Rapperswil railway station is only a few minutes' walk from the property, with direct trains to Zurich (approx. 40 minutes) and connections towards the mountains. Zurich Airport is around 40 minutes away by car. The location makes the Schiffli a perfect base for exploring Zurich, the lake region and Eastern Switzerland.
