The former casino and nowadays Cultural Center Augustin Ross is 10-15 minutes walking distance and the all-year-around heated swimming pool of "Pura Vida" is 5 minutes away by foot. There are plenty of mini markets, small restaurants (so called "picadas"), bakeries and healthy food stores nearby and walking up the hill of Cerro La Cruz has energetic benefits.
