Featuring a large terrace with panoramic city views, Guanako Rooftop Hostel offers accommodation at Patio Bellavista in Santiago. Free WiFi is included throughout. All rooms include air conditioning. Guests will find a 24-hour front desk and a tour desk. Some rooms at GUANAKO feature private bathrooms and LCD satellite TVs and other rooms feature shared bathroom facilities. Guanako Rooftop Hostel is located within Patio Bellavista, where several restaurants and entertainment facilities can be found. Baquedano Metro Station is only 300 metres away. “La Chascona" the house of Pablo Neruda is 800 mts far. The Fine Arts Museum and Santa Lucia Hill are at a 20-minute walk.

“Nice clean and comfy private room. Nice common areas. Go an uber back to the airport with no problems and much cheaper than what is quoted at the desk. Keep your receipt for entering Chile, we didn’t and had to pay 19% tax which is our own...”

Please note that the property will pre-authorise a credit charge equivalent to the 70% of the reservation.

The air conditioning has been set to 25°C in dormitory rooms, in order to please the majority of guests. Extra blankets can be provided at the front desk.

Please note that for tax exemption travellers must pay in US dollars and have to present the migration card they are given when they arrive to the country.

LOCAL TAX LAW

Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%. To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).

* This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately.
