I am a native of Gubeikou. This homestay is my work place and my home. On weekdays, I will grow some vegetables with my wife, and when guests arrive, I will personally make delicious food to share with you. We will also provide guests with various travel plans and suggestions. We like to make friends. I will teach you how to cook Chinese food, and I will teach you how to speak Chinese.

Chengtao Xiaozhu Boutique Homestay is jointly built, designed and operated by husband and wife. Our Boutique Homestay is located in the ancient Gubeikou with convenient transportation. Places to visit nearby are: Gubeikou Great Wall (about 5 minutes' walk), Jinshanling Great Wall (about 20 minutes' drive)，Gubei Water Town/Simatai Great Wall (about 10 minutes' drive).If you are visiting the Great Wall for the first time in China, we can design and plan for you and help you arrange local transportation, so that you don't have to worry about complicated travel plans. We have been running a homestay for more than ten years, and we are also experienced in receiving foreign guests. From three meals a day to travel arrangements, we will make you feel at home. Here you can experience different feelings all year round. In spring, we have our own vegetables to provide you with delicious food. In summer, we have an oversized swimming pool to bring you coolness. In autumn, we have red leaves all over the mountains to accompany you to see the colorful Great Wall. In winter, we have the Great Wall in the snow to make you feel the vicissitudes and vibrations of the Great Wall.

Neighborhood info

The nearest to the inn is the Panlong Mountain Great Wall at Gubeikou, a 5-minute walk away. This is an ancient Great Wall. You can hike from Jinshanling Great Wall to Panlongshan Great Wall at Gubeikou. This is a very good journey. The whole journey takes about 4 hours and the scenery along the way is beautiful.
