Welcome to Blackstone Family Garden Villa, operated by the host of Blackstone Hilltop Great Wall Lodge. As you may notice, both properties are managed by the same host, Dominic. While Blackstone Hilltop Great Wall Lodge offers a unique mountain-top experience, this property is designed as a more spacious and comfortable family garden villa, perfect for families, friends, and group travelers. By choosing this villa, guests can enjoy a better value stay with modern facilities, a relaxing garden environment, and convenient access to the surrounding Great Wall attractions, including Jinshanling and Simatai Great Wall. For guests who would like to enjoy our private hot spring pool, an additional fee applies. Please contact Dominic in advance to make a reservation.
During your stay, I’m happy to share hiking suggestions, local travel tips, and help plan your route. As the property is about 15–30 minutes by car from Gubeikou Railway Station and Gubei Water Town, transportation can be arranged for a basic fee of RMB 50 per trip.
From here, you can enjoy four different Great Wall experiences: Simatai’s stunning night views, Jinshanling’s spectacular daytime scenery, the famous 5-hour hike from Gubeikou to Jinshanling, and a hidden trail behind our property leading to a remote section of the Great Wall east of Simatai, with breathtaking views that most visitors never get to see.
