We kept it warm with wood and white walls, mixed in some vintage finds and soft furniture. The courtyard? Made for sunshine. The big windows? They frame the mountains like a living painting. Everything's close, but coming back feels peaceful. 🏞️ Must-Go Places HongLuo Temple: Short drive from us down Hongyan Road. This ancient temple from the Eastern Jin Dynasty? One of North China's big Buddhist spots. Guests love wandering around, feeling the peace, seeing those thousand-year-old ginkgo trees. Wild Geese Lake: The star of the show. Hosted APEC and the Belt and Road Summit—they call it "International Capital." Bike the 13km lakeside path. Hike the free Xishan Boardwalk (views are insane). Take a boat, see the "Han Tang Soaring" conference center, the sunrise hotel—all that cool architecture. Mutianyu Great Wall: 30-40 minutes drive.
