Las Golondrinas is a rural retreat built with bioconstruction and mixed architecture, set on 3,200 square meters of green land surrounded by mountains and open skies. The design is unlike anything typical the main house is organic and circular, and each cabin has its own character: one with rounded windows, another with breathtaking views of the mountain landscape. The atmosphere is deeply quiet, free from city noise, with walking trails around the property and nature at every turn. Both cabins are fully equipped with living and dining area, full kitchen, bathroom, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. A place where simplicity feels like luxury.
We are a mother and daughter team. Angela mum is your on-site host, warm, attentive, and always available when you need her, while giving you the space and privacy to truly disconnect. Angela dauther handles communication and the vision behind Las Golondrinas. The idea was born from years of travel inspired by the Tzimmer tradition and tiny houses arund the globe, intimate rural escapes close to the city. We created this space to connect with people from all over the world, and to offer a place where travelers can slow down, breathe, and feel at home.
Located one hour from Bogotá, Las Golondrinas sits near the charming town of Tabio. A beautifully preserved village with cobblestone streets, a growing food scene, artisan shops, dessert spots, and a curated rural aesthetic. The area offers natural hot springs, a stunning botanical garden being lovingly restored, and spaces to learn ceramics and painting. From here you can visit the Salt Cathedral in Zipaquirá (30 minutes away), explore scenic mountain trails, or simply do nothing at all. Getting here is easy by car, public transport, or Uber.
