Palmayacu is in the middle of a unique Amazonian landscape. We offer you accommodation in comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, built with an environment-friendly architecture, with lots of natural ventilation, but equipped with insect protection on the walls and in the beds, to offer you the greatest comfort. Let us spoil you with a delicious breakfast and learn and contribute to the conscious conservation of the Amazon rainforest. Palmayacu means: Water Palm or Water in the Palms. This is because the palms of this jungle carry and bring water all the time.
Did you know that more than lung, the Amazon rainforest regulates the temperature of the environment ?. 20 years ago, a group of friends decided to learn to take care of the jungle, living with it. Today, you have the possibility to come to live it in Palmayacu and enjoy the Amazonian landscape, through a sensitive and real experience with the environment. Palmayacu is located 11 kms (7 miles) from Leticia, 20 minutes by car where you can feel in the middle of the jungle, but close to the city, restaurants and tourist activities in the region.
