As all our Guest House, La Vela has a nautical decoration that is matching with the environment. Our guests decide to stay with us to find the authenticity of Cape Verde Village, our friendship and worm welcome. Also, as we are just a few hundred meters from the harbor, we have guests that find convinient to stay to La Vela for their connection with the ship that will take them to other islands.

Palmeira Village is a tipical and tradistional Cape Verdian Fishing village. It has it's few restaurants and bars. People are friendly and will make you fill from the beguinning as one of them.
