Due to the natural harbour and sandy seabed, the water here is not ideal for swimming, but Jan Thiel beach is just a 5-minute drive away with crystal-clear water and plenty of water sports. The gated resort features 24/7 camera surveillance by Jan Thiel Security and private parking. The displayed total price includes all taxes and charges, including 7% tourist tax and an electricity and water surcharge. The full price breakdown is visible during checkout. Three weeks before your arrival you will receive a payment link for the total amount of your reservation. In cases of excessive consumption, such as leaving the air conditioning running day and night while away from the apartment, additional charges may apply. Our local co-host Ingrid or Bas will personally welcome you upon arrival and is available for practical questions during your stay. A rental car is essential on Curaçao and easily arranged at the airport.

The apartment is located at the Spanish Water, one of the most beautiful and popular areas of Curaçao. You stay in a peaceful waterfront setting, while still being close to lively beaches, restaurants and activities. Nearby you will find Jan Thiel Beach, including well-known spots such as Zanzibar and Koko’s, ideal for a beach day, lunch, dinner or a relaxed evening out. Friday evening at Zanzibar is especially popular because of its lively happy hour atmosphere. Tugboat Beach and Caracas Bay are also close by. Tugboat Beach is loved by snorkelers and divers, while Caracas Bay is a nice place to relax by the water. Fort Beekenburg and the Tafelberg are nearby as well, adding both history and nature to the area. At the Spanish Water you can enjoy various watersport activities, such as boating, sailing, paddleboarding or joining a boat tour. Several excursions also depart from the nearby marina. Mambo Beach Boulevard is only a short drive away, with beach clubs, restaurants, shops and the Sea Aquarium. This location is ideal if you want peace and comfort, while staying close to the lively side of Curaçao.
