Located at the edge of the picturesque village of Lofou, in the foothills of Mount Olympus, Apokryfo is a stone-built guesthouse offering boutique accommodation. It has a traditional restaurant, as well as a fully equipped gym with sauna and steam bath. Rooms, studios and cottages at Apokryfo Traditional Guesthouse are tastefully decorated and air conditioned. They come with a satellite TV, DVD/CD player and free WiFi. Some rooms have a fireplace and others have private courtyards. The Agrino Restaurant serves Cypriot cuisine. In the summer guests can dine on the rooftop terrace overlooking the village or in the courtyard by the pool. Other services include massage and beauty treatments by request, a library complete with board games and DVDs and walking maps for the surrounding area. Three golf courses are located within a 30-minute drive from Apokryfo. Troodos Mountain, ideal for skiing and mountain biking, is 24 km away, while the city of Limassol is at 25 km.

APOKRYFO comes from the Greek definition of "a hidden away... kept secret", a fitting name for this secluded property. It is a unique hideaway located at the edge of the picturesque village of Lofou, in the foothills of Mount Olympus, Cyprus. This boutique hotel is made up of a cluster of old stone houses that have been painstakingly renovated by the owners, local architect Vakis Hadjikyriacou and his interior designer wife Diana.

Krasochoria of Lemesos (Limassol): Kolossi, Erimi, Kantou, Souni-Zanakia, Pano Kivides, Agios Amvrosios, Lofou, Vouni, Koilani, Pera Pedi, Mandria, Kato Platres, Omodos, Vasa, Malia, Arsos, Pachna, Anogyra, Avdimou. This beautiful wine region comprises 20 scenic villages that decorate the southern slopes of the Troodos Mountains. The wineries scattered along this route, each in its own way generously reward the visitor seeking a unique and eclectic wine experience. The route takes you through one of the most traditional viniculture areas on the southern face of the Troodos Mountains with many winemaking villages and stands out with its unique floa and fauna. The geology of the area is of international interest as it comprises an ophiolite cluster dating 90 million years, 8,000 metres below sea level. The geographic and climatic conditions in the area favour the cultivation of two basic indigenous grape varieties, the Mavro and Xynisteri. Along this route you will find 16 wineries that welcome visitors.
