The apartment underwent a complete renovation in 2025. When designing it, we tried to combine our love of the mountains with inspiration from the Iberian Peninsula, where we studied. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and reliable wifi. It is heated and has a beautiful view of nature - both from the bedroom and the living room. There is a grocery store and an excellent restaurant U Grobiána near the apartment. Just 300 meters from the apartment there is a train stop with a direct connection to, for example, Kubova Huť or Volary. A water canal flows directly below the apartment, flowing into the Teplá Vltava, which is easily accessible. Next to the apartment is a large children's playground.

Lenora is a great starting point for trips and sports in the Šumava countryside all year round. The nearest excursion destinations are Boubín hill and the Boubín primeval forest, Soumarský most (peat bog) or the picturesque village of Dobrá with the U Němečků pub. By bike, you can reach, for example, Knížecí pláně (20km), Kvilda (30 km), the springs of the Vltava (25 km), Plešné jezero (23 km) or Lipno (Nová Pec - 23 km). But just walk around Lenora, through beautiful deep forests, where you often won't meet another person for the whole day. The nearby Renaissance Prachatice (30 minutes by car) or the Vimperk chateau (25 minutes by car, 40 minutes by train) are also worth a visit. Boaters can board the Tepla Vltava right below the apartment and continue towards Soumarský most and Lipno. In winter, you can drive to the ski slopes in Horní Vltavice (8 min), Kubová huti (10 min) or to Mitterdorf in Germany (20 min). Mitterdorf in particular is a very decent ski center with five ski slopes and an area for children. You can go cross-country skiing, for example, to Strážné (10 min), Borová Lada (20 min), Kvilda (30 min) or to Finsterau in Germany (30 min), i.e. to renowned cross-country skiing locations.
