In this town, on the same street, the famous writer Otokar Březina was born at a time when our house had long been standing. Počátky u Pelhřimov = healthy and beautiful Vysočina. Počátky is a town located on both sides of the historical Czech-Moravian border, in the Pelhřimov district in the Vysočina Region. Approximately 2,500 inhabitants live here. The historic core of the town has been declared an urban conservation area. In the surroundings you can find the Kaliště peat bog nature reserve, the Druids' stone circle, a spa, the highest peak Javořice 837 m above sea level, etc.
