Set in a 5-hectare park, Chateau Mcely blends historic charm with modern amenities, being one of the most luxurious hotels in the Czech Republic. It has an on-site restaurant with an outdoor terrace, an outdoor pool and a tennis court. Chateau Mcely lies in the heart of the legendary St.George Forest, high on a hill, and offers superb vistas. Formerly it was the Thurn-Taxis aristocracy’s manor. The individually-styled rooms and suites are in keeping with the Chateau’s style. Guests can relax in the on-site spa center Mcely Bouquet Spa, available upon prior reservation. Featuring an astronomical observatory, it also offers other activities including an open horse-drawn carriage ride or croquet. It is only a 50-minute drive away from Prague.
