Pension Nina is located in the very heart of Český Krumlov. The house dates back to the 14th century and is an exceptionally rare example of a timber-framed building; it is one of only two such preserved structures in all of Europe (the other being in České Budějovice). Our home offers a sanctuary of peace and tranquility right in the center of the action, providing a true sense of home and security. Everything is within reach—whether you are looking for entertainment, culture, or other local delights.
The house was fully renovated in 1994 and again after 2003. We are constantly innovating to ensure it meets modern requirements for premium lodging. It’s a pleasure to welcome guests to my family home, which means the world to me. Being a traveler myself, I enjoy discovering new cultures, local customs, food, history, and the beauty of nature.
Český Krumlov is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which makes it well known all over the world. It is fascinating that in such a small town – without exaggeration – people from all over the world gather here. An incredible number of cultural and sporting events take place here throughout the year. It is almost impossible to list everything: a beautiful natural setting, a picturesque town with narrow streets, a magnificent castle and chateau with a tower, and a castle park that features a revolving open-air theatre stage. Every performance there is sold out every year. Each year the town also hosts the Summer Solstice celebrations – the Festival of the Five-Petalled Rose, the International Music Festival, a Chamber Music Festival with organ concerts, a Wine Festival, and many other events. The surrounding towns also offer many opportunities for trips and excursions, including Třeboň, Vyšší Brod, Rožmberk, Lipno, and others.
