The entire farmhouse is yours — two houses, a common room, and outdoor wellness facilities. No strangers, no shared spaces. The property comfortably accommodates 16 guests, plus two baby cots. Wellness is right outside your door. The pool with a stone waterfall features a shallow paddling area for children and a deeper section for swimming. There is also a barrel sauna, an outdoor hot tub, sun loungers, and two terraces. Start your morning with coffee and end the day with steam, warm water, and the sound of the waterfall flowing over the rocks. Inside, you will find wood, stone, and warm natural tones. Vaulted ceilings, exposed wooden beams, sheepskins, and a fireplace create a cozy atmosphere where the whole family can gather. The kitchen is spacious enough to cook for a large group. The main house has three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The smaller house is a charming retreat of its own, with a living room, wood-burning stove, and private kitchen. In the common room beneath the brick vaults, you can enjoy a pool table, darts, a beer tap, a projector, and a long dining table for everyone. Children have an indoor play corner with a tipi tent, while outside there is a fenced playground with a slide, sandbox, and tree swing. During the season, fresh fruit ripens in the garden. Parking is available for up to 12 cars. Whether you arrive with children, as a couple seeking peace and quiet, or with a group of friends, the farmhouse is exclusively yours for the entire stay. We are Nikola and Alex. Together with our three children, we were looking for a place for a family holiday — and we found an old farmhouse beneath Monínec. We fell in love with it and decided to bring it back to life. For three years, we renovated it down to the stone. We opened the ceilings to reveal the original vaults, preserved the wooden beams and hand-planed window sills, and added the comfort you are used to at home. The once-empty courtyard became a pool with a waterfall, and we added a sauna and a hot tub. We built it as a place where we ourselves would love to bring our family. What makes us happiest is when guests arrive and immediately feel at ease — children run to the playground while adults relax by the water. The farmhouse is located in Měšetice near Sedlec-Prčice, in the region known as Český Merán — a basin surrounded by forests, ponds, and the hills of the Jistebnice Highlands, part of the Toulava tourist area. You can enjoy the peace of the countryside while still being only about an hour’s drive from Prague (around 80 km). The main attraction is Monínec Resort, just about 10 km away. In winter, it offers ski slopes, cross-country trails, and snow tubing with artificial snowmaking even in above-freezing temperatures. In summer, the Activities Park features water slides, tubing, trampolines, a rope park, archery, and e-bike rentals. All year round, visitors can enjoy one of the most modern bob-sleigh tracks in the Czech Republic (1,300 m long, speeds up to 40 km/h). History is close at hand as well. Sedlec-Prčice (about 5 km away) attracts visitors with its town square, stone bridge decorated with statues, and local brewery — it is also the starting point of the legendary Prague–Prčice march. For day trips, you can visit Konopiště Castle (about 35 km), the Gothic Český Šternberk Castle (about 45 km), the Vysoký Chlumec open-air museum (about 20 km), or the historic Hussite town of Tábor (about 40 km). In the morning, head into the hills or explore the cycling trails; in the afternoon, return to relax by the pool and sauna. We recommend arriving by car — parking is available directly in the farmhouse courtyard.
