Statek U Rajmunda is a family farm located in a secluded forest area in Velké Karlovice. With us, you won’t experience a hotel, but real farm life – surrounded by nature, animals, and the everyday rhythm of the farm. There are animals living on the farm, some of which roam freely. In the morning, you may be greeted by our dogs, a pig might wander by (mainly for the joy of children), you can meet our turkey Franta and hen Jožka, cats will come for cuddles, and alpacas and goats often stop by the yard looking for a treat. Our guests find peace, space, and a close connection with nature here. Just step outside and you are already in the forest – perfect for walks, relaxation, and quiet moments away from civilization. The access road is a forest road, just as you would expect in a natural setting. For some, it may feel unusual at first, but it is easily manageable for everyone. We kindly ask that our guests enjoy animals and respect the farm environment. Our place is best suited for those looking for peace, nature, and an authentic countryside experience.

My name is Věra Lusková and Statek U Rajmunda is our home. There are just three of us here – me, my husband, and our son – and we take care of everything ourselves. We are not a hotel or a guesthouse – we are a family who chose to live in a secluded forest setting and fully dedicate our lives to farming. Our days revolve around animals, outdoor work, and the simple everyday life that comes with it. I take care of the household, the animals, administration, cooking for guests, and cleaning. When time allows, I like to take children with me and together we go to tidy up around the animals or take a walk in the forest with the dogs. We like our guests to feel as if they are visiting us, not just “staying somewhere.” I will personally welcome you, show you how things work here, and if you like, we can have a chat. At the same time, I fully respect those who come just to relax and enjoy the peace. We dedicate a large part of our energy to animals – not only farm animals, but also those we have rescued. Some of them came to us by chance and simply stayed. We are gradually building and improving the farm, and everything we earn goes back into its development and, above all, into the care of our animals. If you love nature, peace, and authentic countryside life, you will feel at home with us.

Statek U Rajmunda is a secluded place in the forest, just 11 km from the center of Velké Karlovice and close to the Slovak border. We are truly in the forest – just a few steps from the house and you are already on hiking trails leading to Kohútka, Velký Javorník, or the Stratenec lookout tower. We are a living working farm, so do not expect complete silence. Instead of city noise, you will hear a rooster crowing, horses neighing, dogs barking, as well as the sounds of machinery and everyday farm life. For some, this may feel unusual; for others, it is the perfect kind of peace. We have an outdoor terrace with a view of nature, where guests enjoy dinner during summer and warm evenings. When it rains or shortly after, you should expect some mud – it is simply part of life on a farm. From our farm, you can set out on hiking or cycling trips, and in winter head to nearby ski resorts. The nearest restaurant is approximately 5 km away. A big advantage is the absence of light pollution – at night, you can enjoy a beautiful star-filled sky. This place is best suited for guests who want to experience the Beskydy Mountains as they truly are – natural, peaceful, and authentic.
