"I do not consider myself the owner, but only the temporary administrator of a monument that has been here for several hundred years and has only been entrusted to my care for a while." Jan Jelínek, owner of the chateau In his youth, he began his professional career in agriculture in the Chomutov region, and even then his perseverance and hard work showed. However, his desire for romance, freedom and adventure led him to found the historical fencing group Fictum, and after several years as its leader, he became a "freelance artist" and switched to professional fencers from the Knights of the Czech Lands in Žatec. They successfully performed with them all over Europe and visited Japan for a few months. The opportunity to get behind the scenes and into the normally inaccessible depositories of castles and chateaux affected him for the rest of his life. After the Velvet Revolution, together with two "fencing comrades-in-arms", he founded a successful company for the production of historical weapons and armor for swordsmen KovexArs in Březno near Chomutov. In 2008, he was able to fulfill his dream of youth and purchased chateau Mokrosuky.
