The apartment is reached on Moselufer street, about halfway down. It has 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms spread over 3 floors. You can enjoy the dining terrace which overlooks the Mosel, and free Wi-Fi is provided. Parking is available by the Mosel river about 30Meters away opposite the little path that is outside our house. We provide bicycles for our guest at no charge so you can enjoy and explore the myriad cycle paths that extend all along the Mosel river. Up to 2 small dogs are welcome at our property for an extra cleaning charge of Euro 10 per dog payable to the housekeeper, and we must be notified in advance of any pets.
Although we live in the UK, we met in Germany over 25 years ago, and still love the place! Please feel free to ask us anything about the local area and we will endeavour to make your visit a happy one.
Urzig is a wine village on the banks of the Mosel, famed for it's Riesling wine. There are many good restaurants in the village, and a short bike ride away is Kloster Machern which is an old monastery converted to a brewery and restraurant and well worth a visit. You can catch the tourist boat from Urzig to Traben-Trarbach or Bernkastel-Kues for a pleasant day's sightseeing.
