GRAND REOPENING AFTER RENOVATION: From "Waldeck Perle" to "WAUzenberg!" We, Benny and Eva, are currently modernizing the holiday apartment with lots of heart and great attention to detail – creating a place where people and four-legged friends feel equally at home. The current pictures mostly show the old furnishings. From August 16th, a completely new kitchen, new interior furnishings, terraces with plenty of real wood, and much more await you. ABOUT THE HOLIDAY APARTMENT There are places where you can simply arrive and instantly unwind. Our holiday apartment at the edge of the forest in Hauzenberg, located in the Adalbert Stifter holiday village, is exactly one of those places. Over the past weeks, we have designed the apartment step by step just the way we ourselves like to spend our holidays: with a new kitchen, cozy furnishings, a spacious terrace, and many small details that make the stay even more relaxing. We are especially delighted to welcome guests who appreciate the tranquility of the Bavarian Forest – whether you would like to go hiking, cycling, discover the nearby Freudensee, or simply enjoy a few quiet days. Dogs are also warmly welcome with us. The forest begins directly behind the apartment, and if needed, the terrace can be fenced off into a small run using a mobile electric fence. This way, both two- and four-legged guests can enjoy the stay equally. Look forward to a peaceful getaway with a new, fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, as well as many opportunities to experience nature right on your doorstep. Hello and a warm welcome! We are Benny and Eva – together with our two Kooikerhondjes, Tali & Hazel, we ourselves love to spend every free minute out in nature. When we discovered this apartment, it quickly became clear to us what kind of feeling we wanted to create: not a place where you simply spend the night, but a place where you can truly arrive for a few days. We believe that hospitality often lies in the little things. In a personal welcome. In a lovingly prepared home. In an honest tip for the next walk or the most beautiful spot by the lake. Our dogs are a natural part of our lives. That's why we are especially delighted to welcome guests with dogs – and we just as warmly welcome couples, families, and simply everyone looking for peace, nature, and a relaxing getaway. Hauzenberg is located in the heart of the Bavarian Forest – a region where you can shape your day entirely according to your own wishes. Walking and hiking trails through the forest begin right outside your doorstep. The nearby Freudensee invites you to swim, take a stroll, or simply linger for a while. Cyclists, too, get their money's worth in this varied landscape. Those looking for something to do can easily reach Passau with its historic old town, as well as many excursion destinations in the tri-border region of Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic. And winter, too, has its very own charm here: winter hiking trails, cross-country ski runs, and smaller ski areas ensure that a stay is worthwhile at any time of year. Our personal tip: Don't plan every day down to the last detail. Often, the most beautiful holiday moments arise exactly when you simply set off – and discover your new favorite spot along the way.
