Ballhaus Berlin Hostel is a unique and historical red-brick building in the Mitte district in the heart of Berlin, near many sights, museums and theaters. The building houses the hostel as well as Berlin's oldest ballroom and the traditional Alt-Berlin pub. The hostel is decorated on a variety of themes ranging from the Golden 1920's to the upcoming 2020's. All dormitories come with lockers and provide access to shared bathroom facilities. Balhaus Berlin Hostel is just around the corner from the Natural History Museum and the Berlin Wall Memorial Naturkundemuseum Underground Station is just a 2-minute walk away from the hostel. Alexanderplatz with its shopping opportunities is easily reached by public transport, as is the Brandenburg Gate and the UNESCO Museum Island. The club and party districts of Friedrichshain und Kreuzberg are easily reached within 30 minutes.

Bedding is provided free of charge. Guests are not permitted to bring their own bedding or sleeping bags. A valid passport and visa (or ID card for EU citizens) will be required for every guest. A copy of the passport/ID card will be made. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed to stay in dormitory rooms.
