The small town of Mirow lies at the southern end of Lake Mirow, which is part of an extensive network of lakes, rivers, and canals, including Lake Müritz. Water lovers can enjoy water sports on the Müritz-Havel waterway, which serves as the gateway to the Müritz National Park.
