This unique monument in the heart of Tangermünde's historic old town has been restored and furnished with great attention to detail. The house is rented out from April to November and is heated via the central living room with a large Bullerjan wood-burning stove. The bathrooms have electric heaters.
Tangermünde is located in the eastern Altmark, in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt, high above the River Elbe. It is only 120 km from Berlin to the west. Tangermünde is approx. 200 km from Hamburg and Hanover. You can reach Tangermünde by train via Stendal, by bike via the Elbe cycle path and by car via the B188 motorway from Stendal or Rathenow. The A2 motorway, Burg or Magdeburg exit, is approx. 70 km away. Tangermünde has its own harbour and can be reached by boat via the Havel and Elbe rivers.
