We are both happy to be hosts in our 2019 renovated apartment. You stay overnight on the ground floor of our house, which is down by the vineyard in a quiet side street. Here you park right in front of the house and enter your 2 room apartment via a separate entrance and hallway. The living room "Radebeuler Weinstube" with sofa bed is comfortably furnished. In the "Lavendel-Zimmer" bedroom you will find a double bed. The bathroom/toilet is completely renovated.
We are booth original Radebeuler and enthusiastic hobby winemakers. We have been cultivating the Riesling and Traminer grape varieties on the vineyard that we took over from our parents for many years. If you are interested, we would be happy to give you an insight into the winemaking trade, let you lend a hand or simply experience the fantastic view. We love this idyllic area of Saxony near Dresden and would like to share this beautiful place with you.
Located directly on the Saxon Wine Hiking Trail, it is a perfect starting point for exploring the surrounding area on foot or by bike. Get to know the nearby wineries and winemakers who bring a considerable variety with award-winning qualities into the bottle here in one of the smallest wine- growing regions in Germany. The Karl-May-Museum is certainly a household name for Indian friends and the entire nearby Lößnitzgrund is "Wild-West" during the Karl-May-festivities. As one of the most popular long-distance cycle routes in Germany, the Elbe Cycle Path is not far, and it takes you either to Dresden with all its sights or to Meißen with the Albrechtsburg castle and the Porcelain manufacture. Moritzburg with its castle in the middle of the water, the game feeding facility with a high ropes course and the state stud, which always shows stallion parades that are well worth seeing in September, is the most original way to get to the "Bimmelbahn" from Radebeul to Radeburg. Saxon Switzerland with its bizarre rock formations can be reached comfortably in an hour by train, the best way back is a steamer from the world's oldest fleet.
