Hello, my name is Verena Hahn and I take care of our holiday apartment in Marquartstein with great dedication. What makes our apartment special is that it is not an anonymous holiday rental, but a lovingly furnished family place in the mountains. My husband and I fulfilled our dream of living in the mountains with our home in Marquartstein. As I am originally from Essen and my husband comes from near Regensburg, the holiday apartment is also a special place for us, where our families come together again and again to spend time together in the Chiemgau region. When the apartment is not being used by our family, we are very happy to share it with other guests. It is important to us that you feel welcome here, arrive, take a deep breath, and truly enjoy your stay. I am always happy to welcome guests from near and far. Please note that English is the only foreign language I speak, so communication is best in German or English.

Marquartstein is a wonderfully versatile place for anyone who wants to combine nature, relaxation and outdoor activities. Beautiful hiking and cycling trails start right on the doorstep, for example around the Hochplatte. The Hochplattenbahn cable car, mountain huts and scenic viewpoints make the region especially attractive for families, leisurely hikers and active holidaymakers. Many things are also conveniently accessible within the village itself. Shops, cafés and restaurants are all close by, while the neighbouring villages of Grassau and Unterwössen offer further lovely excursion options. For families, the Märchen Erlebnispark Marquartstein is a popular highlight. Those who enjoy sports and outdoor activities will find excellent conditions in the Achental for hiking, cycling and many other activities. Quiet moments are not neglected either: the Tiroler Ache, Lake Wössner See and Lake Reifinger See invite you to relax and unwind.
