A warm welcome to the cosy 62qm Berglust-Sachrang holiday flat. This ground-floor flat with its own terrace is situated in a quiet yet central location in the mountaineering village of Sachrang. From here, you can climb many peaks, such as the Geigelstein (1,808 metres above sea level), which has been a nature reserve for 30 years now. The Spitzstein (1,596 metres above sea level) can also be reached directly from the flat. In winter, the small ski lifts, the cross-country ski trail and the mountains for ski touring are all within walking distance. The small village shop in the centre of the village is well worth a visit, particularly for its specialities from Bavaria and Tyrol.
Not far from Sachrang is the town of Aschau im Chiemgau, there you can also climb many peaks, the most prominent mountain is probably the Kampenwand, this can be reached not only on foot but also by cable car. The Chiemgau is not only unique because of the beautiful mountain landscape; there are also many lakes, e.g. Lake Chiemsee was not only so appealing to King Ludwig II at the time, even now it is one of the most famous sights in our area with its Herrenchiemsee Castle.
