Our holiday flat is located in Dresden Striesen, one of the most desirable residential areas of the city. Since creation of the Wilhelminian district with hundreds of villa-like townhouses there is one saying in Dresden: "Do you want to enjoy life - go toward Striesen". In this spirit, we invite you to join us in a typical posh Dresden villa house of 1896! Let yourself be enchanted with us, of a quarter, that is without comparison ... Be part of "DRESDEN AROUND 1900"! Our apartment is situated on the top floor of a Villa, located in a side street. The flat is directed to the park-like courtyard, so you will sleep heavenly. At 62 square meters, we have established a residential oasis, with a mix of classic, modern and antique furniture on Maple parquet for our guests. After an eventful day you can relax on the generous seating in the living room with a novel or surf on the Internet (surf stick on request). In the fully equipped modern kitchen you will find all (induction stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker ...), to serve perfect meal.

We love Dresden so much, because of its cityscape, culture and museums, the Elbe meadows and the lovely surroundings, the people. After many years of longing we live in the city since 2014. And we are very happy with that. We? The apartment Weissbach is operated by a culture excited lady and a landscape architect. And we both want to give our guests from near or far an idea, why Dresden is so very special to us. Cultural and natural-interested visitors are very Welcome! In our flat you find some further readings and picture books about “the old Dresden", or the gorgeous reconstruction of the historical Dresden City center...! Also you can get a lot of insider tips and guided tours are available. Because we think, that you must have seen and experienced "our" Elbe Meadows and the Elbe Palaces rental bikes are already included! In Dresden – Striesen, even the short walk to the bakery is for sightseeing tour, because of the remarkable historical architectur. And when you take the 10 minutes walk on wide boulevards through the open villas to the Loschwitz bridge (“Blaues Wunder”), you will be probably thrilled. Here you are in the center of an 7 square kilometers Historical Reserve, continuing to the Elbe palaces and the posh districts on the other side of the river. By the way: the beer gardens, cafes and restaurants around the historic steel suspension bridge are genuine. "Schillergarten", "Villa Marie" or "Café Toscana" provide you that "Florence on the river Elbe" you are probably looking, but is not easily to find elsewhere because of the crowds ... Nevertheless, the historic city center is an touristic Must-see attraction for any visitor. Its only 4 km away from our apartment and quite easily accessible by direct TRAM (tram stop Pohlandplatz - 300m, no interchange necessary)! Alternatively you may like to use our bicycles? Get first on a relaxed ride through villa district and Forest Park to the river (1km). Drive further on, along the wide Elbe meadows directly to Frauenkirche (more 4 km)!
