In 2009 we secured the wonderful plot, in 2012 we finally moved into the finished house - oriented in proportions and style at the listed village of Paretz, created 1797 on behalf of Queen Luise of Prussia and her husband, King Friedrich Wilhelm III. The village was built as a model for 900 settlements in Prussia - by the teacher of Karl Schinkel, the state architect David Gilly supported by his son Friedrich. This environment develops its very special charm in the native nature. Here you live with nature, culture and the most wonderful water all around.
Anette Hollmann is an artist and naturopath, homeopath and known for soul conversations. Bernd Hollmann is an economic consultant and loves the movement in nature, the music in the surrounding churches, the modernity and also historically grown brick architecture of this area. We live in a wide landscape with lots of water, lakes and rivers without end, mostly idyllically natural and few people nearby. Whether by bike over little-used roads and villages over land, or in a paddle boat, canoe or sailboat, there is water and wind for everyone. But - of course- in 30 minutes are away from us: Potsdam and the big city of Berlin with their complex business world, their proverbial culture, art world between the best museums in the world to the small galleries and artist studios in the backyards, shopping from KaDeWe with luxury to the Factory Outlet nearby.
