Gut Beinrode is more than just an address – it is a place with history, heart, and authentic character. Our roots in the Ohne Valley go back to the first mention as "Villa Beyenrode" in 1348. What was once a Cistercian monastery and later a Reifenstein women's school is now privately managed by us as Gut Beinrode GmbH. Since 2021, our team led by Dagmar Brodmann has managed the 4.5-hectare grounds as a vibrant place for people to meet. We do not offer sterile luxury, but genuine hospitality. Whether for weddings, groups, or our holiday guests: We create a setting where you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and feel the unique energy of this historic site.

Experience history up close – without sacrificing modern comfort. Our spacious apartments at Gut Beinrode combine the unique atmosphere of a historic estate with contemporary amenities. Whether in the family-friendly "Waldblick" (Forest View) with bunk beds for the children, or in the light-flooded "Historische Aussicht" (Historic View): You can expect fully equipped kitchens, comfortable beds, and plenty of room to relax on the first floor. An important note for your planning: Gut Beinrode is an idyllic retreat, but also a vibrant place for people to meet. As we regularly host weddings and family celebrations on our extensive grounds, please note the following distinction: The general quiet hours (22:00 – 06:00) are binding for conduct inside the apartments. However, during events (especially on weekends), there may be audible noise from music and celebrating guests on the premises, even during the night hours. Please take this into account before booking.

Gut Beinrode is located in the heart of the Eichsfeld region, nestled between the Dün and Eulenberg hills. Our location in the idyllic Ohne Valley makes us the ideal base camp for a wide variety of discovery tours: Nature & Panoramic Views: Hiking and cycling paths into the countryside start directly from the farm. An absolute highlight is the "Skywalk Sonnenstein": A glass walkway with breathtaking views over the Ohmgebirge mountains. Reflection & Pilgrimage: The Eichsfeld is a region of spiritual retreat. Famous pilgrimage sites such as the Hülfensberg Monastery or the Etzelsbach Pilgrimage Chapel are easily accessible – a wonderful complement to the silence in our own estate chapel. Adventure & History: For families, a draisine ride on the historic "Kanonenbahn" railway is a must. History lovers should visit the impressive Hanstein Castle ruins or the beautiful half-timbered town of Duderstadt. The Alternative Bear Park Worbis is also just a stone's throw away.
