Detached ground floor wooden house, with large terrace, garden and a wonderful view. The house has a large light-flooded living room, with integrated kitchen, from which you come directly to the terrace. Two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living area are available for overnight stay. People with walking disabilities can easily move around the house with a standard roller. The bathroom is accordingly with a ground-level transition to the shower area.
We are a married couple in our prime, and our hobbies are darts and travel. With our little dog (a Bolonka), we've visited many places, but Wanfried is our favorite. We've lived here for over thirty years and enjoy the Werra river valley on one side and the surrounding mountainous landscape on the other.
Right outside the front door, there are numerous hiking routes and cycling trails from simple to demanding. On site we have a very nice outdoor pool. Within a radius of 25 km, there are thermal baths, indoor pools and a pool with salt cave and public grading plant. On the Hohe Meißner you can take beautiful hikes in summer, in winter there are leupen and ski descent with lift. Cities: Eschwege (Open Flair Festival) 12 km, Eisenach (Wartburg) 40 km, Göttingen (very nice pedestrian zone)65 km, Kassel (Herkules) 65 km
