Welcome to Auszeit Borkum Auszeit Borkum is a quietly located guesthouse in the heart of the town center, yet only about 300 meters from the train station. This allows you to reach us quickly while still enjoying a relaxed and peaceful stay. Our house offers four different categories: single rooms, double rooms, twin rooms with separate beds, as well as our apartments within the house. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet. In addition, each room is equipped with a seating area, a flatscreen TV, a refrigerator, and free Wi-Fi. The modern wood-look flooring creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Guests staying in single, double, and twin rooms have access to a shared kitchen. It is fully equipped with stovetops, ovens, microwaves, toasters, kettles, and all essential cooking utensils. A dining area is also available. Kettles and tea facilities can also be found in the hallways. Our apartments offer additional comfort with a private, fully equipped kitchen (including induction cooktop, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, and all necessary cooking utensils). Some apartments also feature a private entrance and their own terrace. In good weather, you are welcome to use our outdoor terrace and garden. Check-in is contactless, allowing you to arrive flexibly and independently. Final cleaning is included in your stay. Daily cleaning is not provided. For stays of 8 nights or more, an intermediate cleaning is included. For shorter stays, this can be booked for an additional fee. Please contact our partner hotel “Haus am Park” for this, for example when paying your visitor’s tax. During the high season, the town center of Borkum is closed to car traffic, which helps maintain a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. We wish you a pleasant stay.

Information about the surroundings Our accommodation is quietly located in the center of Borkum. The town center is just a short walk away and can be reached within a few minutes. There you will find a variety of shopping options, small boutiques, cafés, and restaurants. Supermarkets, bakeries, and everything you need for your daily needs are also close by. The beach and the promenade are only a few minutes away and invite you to take walks, relax, and enjoy the fresh North Sea air. Especially in the evening, a walk along the promenade is particularly enjoyable. There are also bicycle rental shops nearby, making it easy to explore the island at your own pace. The dune landscape around Borkum is ideal for longer walks or bike tours. The Gezeitenland (spa, wellness, and leisure pool) is also easily accessible and offers a great way to relax, even in bad weather. Thanks to the central location, everything is within walking distance, allowing you to enjoy a flexible and relaxed stay.
