We have a vacation apartment and a studio that warmly welcome you: Flussaue and Weinlaub.
The ***“Flussaue” vacation apartment*** offers everything you need for a relaxing stay.
The bright living-bedroom invites you to unwind—whether you’re reading or simply resting after an eventful day.
The kitchen, with its cozy seating area, is the perfect spot for shared meals, morning coffee, or a glass of wine in the evening.
The bathroom rounds out the amenities and, with its facilities, ensures a fresh start to the day.
Whether for a weekend or a longer vacation—here you’ll find peace, comfort, and a temporary home.
The ***“Weinlaub” Studio*** invites you to enjoy a relaxing stay. You’ll find all the amenities you need to settle in and unwind: a bed, a coffee maker, French press, and milk frother for your morning coffee or tea, a colorful bathroom, and an inviting courtyard. We’ve opted against elaborate kitchen furnishings here. The converted Chippendale sideboard is designed to delight the eye, while one of the many great restaurants will delight your palate.
[[Are you traveling by bike?]] - We have an extension adjacent to the courtyard that provides weather-protected storage for bikes. There is also an outlet available for charging e-bikes.
[[Would you like to use the vacation rental for a workation?]] - We’d be happy to provide an additional table in the apartment so that your laptop and notes don’t have to be moved back and forth between the kitchen table and the cabinet, allowing you to continue working right where you are.
[[Would you like an extra bed for a child traveling with you?]] - Please feel free to contact us, and we’ll check if this is possible.
Since October 2025, we are pleased to be a partner of the Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve.
We, the Habermann family, are pleased to be your hosts.
You want to arrive, feel comfortable, and find peace – you will find that with us.
You want to arrive, feel comfortable, and barbecue together with us on the terrace, or receive recommendations in conversation – you will find that with us as well.
We live together with you in the accommodation. This allows for timely exchange at any time and is warmly welcome.
Havelberg is a charming small town on the Havel River with a history spanning over a thousand years.
As early as 948, Havelberg was first mentioned as a bishopric and developed into an important religious and economic center in the Middle Ages. Particularly striking is the imposing St. Mary's Cathedral, built in the 12th century, which still dominates the town's skyline today. The old town is picturesque, situated on an island surrounded by the Havel, giving it a unique charm.
In the Middle Ages, Havelberg was a member of the Hanseatic League and benefited from its favorable location on important trade routes and waterways. Crafts, fishing, and especially shipbuilding shaped the town's economy for centuries. Even Tsar Peter the Great visited Havelberg, which later became a garrison town and remains a Bundeswehr (German armed forces) location to this day.
Despite wars, fires, and floods, Havelberg has preserved its historic charm with lovingly restored architecture and vibrant culture. Visitors can explore not only the cathedral and the Prignitz Museum but also enjoy the idyllic river landscape. Havelberg combines history and nature – a real hidden gem in the north of Saxony-Anhalt.
