Newly refurbished in 2023, we offer a separate basement apartment within our family home (shared entry to the house), including kitchenette, small wardrobe, your own en-suite bathroom and a starter kit with cereals, milk or vegetarian alternative, coffee and tea to make you feel welcome. English and German books to swap and also a few games can help you relax on a rainy day. The pool can be used at pre-booked times within the season from 5-8p.m. Towels are provided at the beginning of your stay. For your comfort and privacy, cleaning is done before arrival and after check out only. The pool usage is for swimmers only, responsibility for kids is strictly on parents. Pool towel, bathrobe and slippers can be provided at extra charge as well as using the sofa as an additional bed.
Having travelled a lot myself during my time as a freelance journalist, I now welcome international guests in our fantastic bike-friendly city. While working as a teacher, I would still love to provide all kinds of information and helpful advice on where to go and what to do when I come home from school. Feel free to ask, I‘m happy to be at your service.
Our home lies in a secluded family-friendly part of town, only 7 min. by bike from the city‘s historic centre, a short stroll on foot to the lush and beautiful promenade that encircles our old and picturesque city. Restaurants and supermarkets are only 700m to 1,2 km away, an easy stroll of 5-10 min.
