The Lagunenstadt of Ueckermünde is located near the mouth of the river Uecker in the Szczecin Lagoon. The lagoon, which runs into the Baltic Sea, is a perfect location for water sports of any kind. The Harbour Master and his team manage approximately 400 boat berths in the port of the Lagunenstadt of Ueckermünde. They keep the right-sized box for any size of boot. A boat gas station, a slip system and parking for trailers are available. If you do not fancy bringing your own boat, there is also a boat rental. Both sailing and motor boats can be hired. Unlicensed models are available as well. In addition to the proximity to the facilities of the port, the well-maintained area around the apartments waits with a lot of other attractions. There is a beach volleyball court, a basketball hoop and a small football pitch available. A beautifully designed playground is available to enthuse your children. The seaside city of Ueckermünde can be accssed via the usual road network, as well as via an idyllic, paved bicycle and footpath. At the end of the path you arrive at the Altes Bollwerk. Here you find the train station called "Ueckermünde Stadthafen". The city of Ueckermünde itself is a 750-year-old town that is preserved and restored beautifully. During the summer time, concerts take place on its market square. Many restaurants grace the city, many of them serve regional dishes. You find all the other amenities nearby – banks, pharmacies, supermarkets and boutiques. A highlight of the town is its cinema that can bring variety into your entertainment during any season. We can recommend the Haffmuseum which is located near the city harbor and which has recently been restored. Along the city port you find the the jetty of the company Peters, which offers trips to the Polish cities of Stettin and Swinemuende, the peninsula Usedom and port rounds trips.
