The nearest bathing beach is around 10 minutes away, and within 20 km you will find about 30 different beaches on the Flensburg Fjord, such as Holnis or Kronsgaard (Baltic Sea). The region offers many opportunities for water sports like sailing, water skiing, surfing, kitesurfing, fishing, and swimming. The surroundings invite you to explore nature reserves, forests, and natural experiences. A trip to the Viking village Haitabu near Schleswig is also recommended.
