Peacefully located in the health resort of Ilsenburg at the foot of the Brocken Mountain, this 5-star country-style hotel features a large spa area with pool, hot tub and sauna. The Landhaus Zu den Rothen Forellen offers country-style rooms with pretty fabrics and modern amenities. Each features cable TV, work desk and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Guests can enjoy Italian-style and Alsatian-style food in the Forellenstube restaurant. The restaurant enjoys excellent views of Lake Forellensee. Homemade cakes as well as seasonal and regional dishes are served in the country-style Landhaus Restaurant. The nearby Harz Mountains offer many scenic hiking and cycling trails. Guests can use the Rothen Forellen’s spa area, which was newly renovated in 2012. Guests can drive to Braunschweig in just 40 minutes from Zu den Rothen Forellen, and Ilsenburg Train Station is just 0.6 mi from the hotel.
