This hotel is set in a traditional-style building in the pretty town of Friedrichstadt, where the Eider and Treene rivers meet. It is based directly on the town’s Market Square (Marktplatz). Renovated in February 2016, each of the rooms at Pension Marktblick is simply furnished and decorated in warm tones. All offer a flat-screen TV and en suite modern bathroom, as well as a small seating area. Pension Marktblick invites guests to enjoy a daily breakfast in the morning, while the town also has a large variety of restaurants and cafés boasting traditional and regional dishes. Activities in the surrounding area include hiking, fishing and canoeing. The Museum for the History of Friedrichstadt is also a popular attraction for tourists. The larger area of Husum is 9.9 mi away. Pension Marktblick is located just a 10-minute walk from the local train station, and free public parking is also available at the accommodations.
