Relax and enjoy the wonderful peace and unique view here in beautiful Extertal – in our 1970s house right on the edge of the forest. In the bright 75 sq m apartment and the large terrace, you can unwind a little. Freshly renovated and furnished with great attention to detail, including some vintage furniture we restored ourselves, you'll feel right at home. Modern kitchen with plenty of amenities, a comfortable bed, a sofa bed, and a practical bathroom. The apartment is divided into a bathroom, kitchen, hallway, bedroom, living-dining room, and a terrace/balcony (covered). The bedroom has a 140x200 cm bed, and in the living room you'll find a 100x195 cm sofa bed. A baby cot can be set up upon request. You have internet TV and fairly good Wi-Fi (for rural conditions). The apartment has underfloor heating throughout, and with wooden floors and clay plaster, it creates a great indoor climate in the living room and bedroom. The apartment has its own entrance, and the terrace is for your exclusive use, so you have plenty of privacy. We are the second-to-last house in a quiet cul-de-sac right next to the forest. The beautiful outdoor swimming pool is within walking distance. The nearest town is quaint Rinteln, about a 15-minute drive away. The nearest supermarket is an 8-minute drive away. Note: Currently, the living room with sofa bed can only be darkened with curtains. The bedroom has blinds. You can park for free directly at the house. You reach your accommodation via a separate entrance down the stairs at the side of the house. The apartment is, of course, separate from the rest of the house and can be locked separately. There is a garden at the house, but this is the little domain of our two sweet dogs. You have the huge terrace all to yourself.

We've lived in our idyllic home since 2023 and have lovingly modernized the vacation apartment. We love nature, our dogs, and are always beautifying our home (there can never be enough flowers!). We'd love to share some great tips with you to make your stay perfect.

There's much to discover in and around the beautiful Extertal valley. Endless hiking trails, an outdoor pool just around the corner, historic towns like Rinteln and Hamelin, and excursion destinations like the Externsteine ​​and the Hermann Monument.
