This family-run hotel is located on the outskirts of Birkendorf in the southern Black Forest, and is surrounded by forests and meadows. Wellnesshotel Sonnenhof & Sonnhalde offers free WiFi and a restaurant. Rooms at the 3-star superior hotel are brightly decorated and feature natural wood furnishings. The Naturena-Badesee baths, the beautiful forest as well as various hiking trails are situated a few metres from the hotel. Winter sport enthusiasts can look forward to cross-country ski trails and ski slopes in the immediate vicinity. The wellness area features an indoor pool, a sauna, sunbeds, as well as massages and beauty treatments. The day starts with a rich buffet breakfast. Popular day trip destinations by car include the Feldberg Mountain, Lake Schluchsee, Lake Titisee, the Wutach Gorge or Switzerland.
