This hotel in the heart of Schwerin is a beautiful Art Nouveau building from the 19th century. The Avalon Hotel - Altstadt Schwerin is 100 metres from the Pfaffenteich Lake and 600 metres from Schwerin Main Station. Rooms and suites at The Avalon Hotel - Altstadt Schwerin Schwerin are individually designed and range from basic to very elegant with high ceilings. All rooms are equipped with a satellite TV. A buffet is served each morning in the classic-style breakfast room. Many shops and restaurants can be found within a 10-minute walk. Bicycles can be rented for exploring the lake countryside around Schwerin. The State Museum and Schwerin Castle are both a 20-minute walk from the Avalon. Free public parking is available near The Avalon Hotel - Altstadt Schwerin, and there is also an off-site car park 50 metres away. The A14 motorway can be reached in 10 minutes from here.
