Quietly located in the historic town of Ladbergen with scenic view of the countryside, Hotel Up de Birke offers free Wi-Fi. This family-run hotel has its own horse stables and horse storage space. The classic bedrooms are bright and feature a seating area, a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV. The en-suite bathrooms offer complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer is provided. A hearty breakfast is served every morning in the dining room. The à la carte restaurant serves German cuisine and Westphalian specialities, and there is a rustic-style bar on site. Ladbergen is a popular destination for cyclists, and bike rental can be arranged. The Friedensreiterweges path and Dortmund-Ems Canal are 2 km away and ideal for hiking and horse riding. "The hotel was a few minutes out of town in the countryside, lovely surroundings and nice and quiet. Due to traffic hold-ups I didn't arrive 'til 19:30, so had to check in in the restaurant which was busy with local clientele, (always a good sign),..."
